My business is for sale:

I have not found anyone to take over my business. So:

We built a home in Denver. A 55+ community. We have had it for two years now. We go there for a week every two months or so. But we are not happy there. The lot size is minuscule and I only have a smallish 3 car garage. So we are selling it and looking for a different home in the Denver area. An existing home. We do not want to go thru a new build again. We both want a larger yard and most important is I want more garage space. All my life I have been a garage person and I like to make things etc. Ideally we will find a home where I can add on to the existing garage or put in an additional garage. So my plan now is to take my business to Denver.   But: I am not making much of anything anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will probably just sell out my existing stock and as I run out of things discontinue them. Hopefully this all happens in 2024. Once we start moving out of our home here in Wi there will be a few/several months when I will not be able to sell anything.

An important note on dog bones and aftermarket rubber engine and transmission mounts:

Aftermarket rubber motor and transmission mounts have proven to be no where near as good as OEM GM motor and transmission mounts. This applies mostly to the aftermarket rubber transmission mounts. Seems no matter what name is on the box(es) the mounts seem to come from one (China) manufacturer. The single biggest reason these aftermarket motor and transmission mounts fail is the looseness of the factory GM dog bone. The factory dog bone allows the motor to move an unbelievable amount forward and backward. This quickly makes the aftermarket rubber transmission mounts loose their bond between the rubber and the steel.

Using one of my dog bones limits the movement to a very small amount and should make these aftermarket rubber transmission mounts last long term

Automatic note: These rubber dog bones are fairly stiff. When in gear and at a complete stop you will feel some vibration from the engine. This is only on the automatics. Not a manual transmission car. I had this on my automatic years ago. Personally I liked the vibration. It made it feel like a muscle car.  :)

This dog bone is similar to the poly dog bone but it is made with rubber inserts. It is just slightly softer than poly but certainly tougher than the OEM GM rubber dog bone which is very soft and lets the engine move a large amount.

Both V-6 and the longer L4 are offered.

Length of the V-6 dog bone note: GM used a few (several) different length V-6 dog bones for the 85-88 Fiero. I had a discussion years ago on the Fiero Forum and asked how long I should make my V-6 rubber dog bones as I would only be making them in one length. Mine are 4" center to center. An average of most if not all the V-6 GM dog bones use in the Fiero.  The difference from the longest to the shortest GM factory Fiero dog bone was not a large amount.

The L4 dog bone is 176 mm center to center.

These are painted a gloss black color. The paint is nice but not picture perfect. You may want to sand and repaint for a perfect show car appearance.

SHIPPING NOTE:

I do not offer free shipping.

Because I use postal flat rate boxes for heavy orders there is no program that can add the proper amount of shipping to every order. So all shipping is added manually by myself after you place your order. That is explained here: Shipping added later explanation

When you place an order the shipping amount will show $0.00. Soon after you place an order you will receive an email confirmation that shows the amount of shipping that was added to your order.

Shipping is approximately $12.00.   (Midwest-USA)

Final shipping cost is determined by weight of the item(s) and distance from Milwaukee, WI. Shipping prices quoted are for items shipped to the Midwest area in the USA. If you are ordering a single item or multiple items the total shipping price is determined after you place the order. I try to keep my shipping prices to a minimum and use Postal Flat Rate boxes whenever I can utilize them for an order.
