My business is for sale:

I have not found anyone to take over my business. So:

We built a home in Denver. A 55+ community. We have had it for two years now. We go there for a week every two months or so. But we are not happy there. The lot size is minuscule and I only have a smallish 3 car garage. So we are selling it and looking for a different home in the Denver area. An existing home. We do not want to go thru a new build again. We both want a larger yard and most important is I want more garage space. All my life I have been a garage person and I like to make things etc. Ideally we will find a home where I can add on to the existing garage or put in an additional garage. So my plan now is to take my business to Denver.   But: I am not making much of anything anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will probably just sell out my existing stock and as I run out of things discontinue them. Hopefully this all happens in 2024. Once we start moving out of our home here in Wi there will be a few/several months when I will not be able to sell anything.

Rebuild your 1984 4 cylinder 4 speed slave cylinder.

Fits all OEM, aftermarket and my aluminum slaves.

The 4 speed was used in all 1984 4 cylinder Fiero's.

This kit includes a new dual seal piston. new rubber boot, new return spring and a new snap ring.

The dual seal piston is available separately also:

New bleeders are available. Replace your old bleeder.

The bore size of the cylinder is 13/16" (0.8125")  or 20.64 mm

An excellent trick to bleed the clutch system:

When I changed from an automatic to a Getrag 5 speed I used the trick Bob Hughes suggested many years ago:   Take a clean glass jar (like a mayonnaise jar) with a lid. 1 quart or smaller is OK. Poke 2 holes in the top of the lid. Get some clear tubing from a hardware store. Vinyl clear tubing is cheap. Get 12 feet or so. The ID of this tube should be such that it goes over the bleeder of the slave end snug. Make the holes in the lid of the jar just big enough to allow the tubing to go thru but be a tight fit. Attached one tube maybe 2 feet long to the slave bleeder. Attach the other long tube end to a vacuum port on an engine (I used my truck). Coat the threads of the bleeder screw with some heavy grease or wrap it with Teflon tape so no air gets drawn in past the threads of the bleeder screw.  Start the engine you are using for vacuum and let it idle. Make sure you have someone at the front to fill the reservoir and open the bleeder. The vacuum of the running engine will draw the fluid thru the system. Worked excellent for me when I did it.
