I have not found anyone to take over my business. So:

We built a home in Denver. A 55+ community. We have had it for two years now. We go there for a week every two months or so. But we are not happy there. The lot size is minuscule and I only have a smallish 3 car garage. So we are selling it and looking for a different home in the Denver area. An existing home. We do not want to go thru a new build again. We both want a larger yard and most important is I want more garage space. All my life I have been a garage person and I like to make things etc. Ideally we will find a home where I can add on to the existing garage or put in an additional garage. So my plan now is to take my business to Denver.   But: I am not making much of anything anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will probably just sell out my existing stock and as I run out of things discontinue them. Hopefully this all happens in 2024. Once we start moving out of our home here in Wi there will be a few/several months when I will not be able to sell anything.

Replace your old worn out V-6 factory dog bone with a

"factory look" new rubber dog bone

Installing a new dog bone will help save your motor mount and transmission mounts from quickly failing. The OEM GM dog bones allow a large amount of back and forth movement of the engine and transmission for the sake of comfort. This is hard on motor and transmission mounts. My reproduction factory look dog bones do not allow a large amount of engine and transmission movement.

Aftermarket rubber motor and transmission mounts have proven to be not as good as OEM. Seems no matter what name is on the box(es) the mounts seem to come from one (China) manufacturer. The single biggest reason these aftermarket motor and transmission mounts fail is the looseness of the factory GM dog bone. The factory dog bone allows the motor to move an unbelievable amount forward and backward. Using one of my dog bones limits the movement to a fairly small amount.

I have made similar looking rubber dog bones for the V-6 Fiero. The aluminum casting is an exact match. The rubber bushings are not. Both of the center steel tubes are slotted for easy installation.

I will have 2 variations available. Soft for automatics and hard for stick shifts. Some with automatics may want the harder version but you will feel the engine vibrate at idle in gear at a dead stop. Even with the softer automatic version you will feel some vibrations when idling at a dead stop. Once moving there is no difference between hard and soft.
