I'm also looking to sell some or all of my "in house" manufactured parts that I make in my shop to someone who might be like me and likes making things. This is one of those products. To buy my business is a large endeavor. But if you work a full time job or are retired and want to take on my manufactured parts or some of my manufactured parts let me know.
A nice sideline for an ambitious person.

FWD 282 Getrag Slave Cylinder Adapter And Shift Cable Bracket
This adapter allows the stock GM Fiero Getrag slave to be mounted to the FWD Getrag 282 transmissions.
Approximately half of the Getrag's used in FWD GM cars (1988-1991 or so) are the internal release arm style. These internal release arm style Getrag's are found in cars like the Grand Prix, Grand Am etc. Most Quad 4 Getrag's also have this style of slave.
On these types of Getrag's, the slave cylinder bolts directly to the bellhousing and pushes through the case into the interior of the bellhousing where the release lever is. I searched far and wide looking for a suitable slave to use to adapt these for use in the Fiero. Ultimately, several of us found the best solution is the stock Getrag slave.
NOTE: When using this adapter you must use a Fiero Getrag slave cylinder!
With these adapter parts now available, the amount of FWD Getrag's that can be used in the Fiero increases substantially.
Late Model FWD Getrag Slave Cylinder Adapter
|
- The new push rod (included with this adapter) locates the piston in the slave in the correct location in the bore of the slave body.
- The new Isuzu 5 speeds used on the newer dual cam 4's also require this adapter.
- Includes new custom length replacement pushrod.

This is the arm for the shift cable.
When you have the internal arm style Getrag there is no need for the ears to hold a slave cylinder.
