My business is for sale:
I have not found anyone to take over my business. So:
So my plan now is to eventually take my business (mainly just my existing inventory) to Denver. But: I also am not making parts anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items as they run out. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will continue to sell out my existing stock I have on hand and as I run out of things they become discontinued.
So my advice is buy it now because it may not be available in the future.

Top quality OEM type replacement speakers
fis all 1984-1988 Pontiac Fiero.
Dual cone. 8 ohm fronts and 4 ohm rears.
OEM is 10 ohms in the front and 4 ohms in the rears.
After listening to many opinions on what ohms to use I went with 8 ohms in the front and 4 ohms in the rear. Factory is 10 ohms in the front speakers and 4 ohms in the rear speakers. 8 ohms in the front is a compromise for factory radios and aftermarket radios.
These are manufactured by a major Taiwan speaker manufacturer.
I sent them some original GM Fiero OEM factory speakers and they used them to make these speakers. I insisted on top quality components. They should easily exceed the quality of the factory GM original speakers. All major speaker suppliers (Alpine etc) all contract speaker manufacturers to have their speakers made. I did the same. The speaker manufacturer that makes these for me also makes speakers for many speaker suppliers such as Alpine etc.
The outer foam round ring piece is from Japan because Japan makes the highest quality foam for speakers.
Sold in pairs.

What Fiero owners have to say:
Quoted from Pennocks (www.fiero.com)
I just bought and installed Rodney's 4x10 speakers. I've never heard properly functioning STOCK 4x10's in a Fiero, but mine had newer aftermarket speakers. My aftermarket 4x10's worked just fine and sounded alright, but I figured I'd buy Rodney's just to check them out. All I can say is WOW! Absolute night and day difference.
His are sooo much clearer and crisper. So much so that I had to completely retune my 7 band EQ. I even had to adjust my subwoofer level too. I'm running a nice Pioneer deck so that may or may not affect the sound quality. I AM running a Hi pass to the speakers and a low pass on the sub so that means I cant vouch for the speakers bass reproduction, although the inherent nature of the oval shape USUALLY means they wont handle loads of bass. But thats why I have a sub in the first place.
All in all I definitley reccomend Rodney's 4x10's. Great buy for the price and since they kill my aftermarket speakers I imagine they will destroy stock speakers. If you want bass run a sub. If you want fantastic crisp clear sound get Rodney's 4x10's.
Edit to add: Forgot my favorite thing. They go FAR louder than my old speakers without distorting. The Hi pass helps this but I ran the same level of Hi pass on the old speakers with different results so these are definitley a huge improvement. TheRealShadowX
Just got my 4x10 speakers for my Fiero. They sound great. Thanks for doing the work to get these designed. The price and quality is superb.

Hi Rodney,
I am more than happy with the speakers you supply both the front and back are much better than the round Alphines I had before, the carry a good range clearly and are definitely louder/ clearer than my old ones, the shipping was also only 2 days at a good price.
Many thanks

Incluided with all my speakers is a custom designed pigtal kit for the front speakers. This allows you to install them without cutting the factory speaker wires:
Strip the wires and solder them to my front speakers. Installed:
Plug it into the factory wiring harness pigtal and use a tie wrap to keep it secure. No cutting of the factory wiring harness!!
Thanks go to my EE friend Winston and also Jazzman for helping developing my plug in idea and getting these made.
NOTE ON THE REAR SPEAKERS:
The best way to install the rear speakers is to remove the factory wiring harness from the factory speakers and solder it to the new speakers because the rears have a long pigtail soldered to speaker that is easy to remove and install on the new rear speakers:
I do not include the pigtails for the rear speakers.
Also note that the speaker covers in the rear do not come off. You have to remove the seats and remove the rear panel that is over the speakers.
A customer supplied me with this. It says it covers the 84-88 Fiero.
