My business is for sale:
I have not found anyone to take over my business. So:
So my plan now is to eventually take my business (mainly just my existing inventory) to Denver. But: I also am not making parts anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items as they run out. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will continue to sell out my existing stock I have on hand and as I run out of things they become discontinued.
So my advice is buy it now because it may not be available in the future.

9-10-24: I am still in business and this item is still in stock.
The availability of these tubes has been an issue from almost the very begining of the Pontiac Fiero.
Fiero under-car replacement long coolant tubes
This starts from almost day one when the 1984 Fiero first hit the streets. Some Fiero owners eventually needed replacement coolant tubes. Many times the problem started at repair shops. They put the pads under these tubes and as the car was lifted it dented/crushed the long coolant tubes. So now this owner needs replacement coolant tubes. After they were no longer available from a GM dealer (if they ever were) one could only search for good used ones. Good used ones could be found but: They are too long to ship. The post office, Fed Ex or UPS would not ship them. Even Greyhound would not take them.
Another problem is corrosion under the clamps.
A big problem on the 84-87 was they go up and over the front suspension. Even if you put your 84-87 Fiero up on a rack it was still difficult to take the old tubes out and put new tubes in. One almost has to remove the front suspension.
I have had many ask me in the last 20+ years for replacement coolant tubes. I always told them the same thing. There are good used ones out there but they are too long to ship.
Fast forward to today and and you will see finding good used ones is now difficult.
Then one day I had an idea. I contacted a few Fiero people that have worked on/parted out Fieros for a long time and we talked about these long under car coolant tubes. They told me these tubes are generally never damaged where they bend inward behind the front wheels and go forward. The damage is always along the sides and back.
So I developed these repair kits. You cut your existing tube(s) and install this repair section.
Included in the kit is a 304 stainless steel sleeve. It has a small bump in the center so it only goes in half way in each tube. The kit includes a length of HD industrial hose, 304 stainless steel rivets and two HD stainless steel hose clamps. You put the hose and clamps over the tube and push them back out of the way. You then rivet in the connecting tube. Slide the hose over and tighten the clamps.
These can ship postal, UPS or Fed Ex.
So this thorn in everyones side long coolant replacement tube problem is now a thing of the past!
They are made from 304 stainless steel. They are about 58" long.
Thru the years I've had many ask for replacements. My replacement tubes will now fill that need. Easy to install.
Email me if you need them. We can work on that. rodney@rodneydickman.com
