My business is for sale:
I have not found anyone to take over my business. So:
So my plan now is to eventually take my business (mainly just my existing inventory) to Denver. But: I also am not making parts anymore in my shop here. I am also not restocking many items as they run out. You may have noticed some of my parts are out of stock now. That trend will continue. Once in Denver I will continue to sell out my existing stock I have on hand and as I run out of things they become discontinued.
So my advice is buy it now because it may not be available in the future.

Discount 1988 V-6 Type OEM Type EGR Tubes
Fits all 1985-1988 V-6 Fieros
Why do I sell these discounted 1988 V-6 style EGR tubes? I had a batch of EGR tubes made. The manufacturer made the 1985-1987 V-6 EGR tubes the correct length but they made the 88 style EGR tubes 25 mm too short. Since they are made from convoluted tube and are designed to be stretched/bent etc they can be stretched. So I made a jig and I stretch them to the correct length. The heat shielding is easily stretched longer by hand which I do before I sell them. Talking to an engineer that works with EGR tubes he agrees that stretching them should not be a problem and will probably not shorten their life. But I do not want to sell them as perfect. I had a new batch made of these 1988 type EGR tubes that are the correct length and sell at the standard $79.99 price.
The 1988 V-6 tube interchanges with the 1985-1987 EGR tube. It is about 6 mm longer and easily fits the 1985-1987 V-6 Fiero engine. Each EGR tube ordered includes both EGR gaskets.
Very close copy of the OEM 1988 GM EGR tubes. 304 stainless steel. Heat shielding that is similar to OEM.
Made from one piece of 304 stainless steel tubing.
No welds. The weld is typically where the GM OEM tubes break.
EGR tubes above include two new EGR gaskets.
The upper EGR gasket (in the picture below) goes on the intake manifold and prevents a large vacuum leak if the EGR tube breaks. To insure they are very durable I install a stainless steel insert in the hole.
These EGR tubes are easily hand bent to the same contour as the OEM EGR tube.
Discounted price (one size fits all) EGR tube: $49.99
QUESTION: How can you tell the difference between the discounted EGR tubes and the regular 88 EGR tubes? When my manufacturer made the first (too short) batch of EGR tubes they used a larger diameter heat shield tube. When they made the second (correct length) batch of 88 EGR tubes they used a smaller diameter heat shield tube. The discount EGR tubes have a heat shield tube that is about 1 1/4" (1.250") in diameter. The second (correct length) batch the heat shield tube is about 1 1/16" (1.120 ").
SHIPPING NOTE:
I do not offer free shipping.
Because I use postal flat rate boxes for heavy orders there is no program that can add the proper amount of shipping to every order. So all shipping is added manually by myself after you place your order. That is explained here: Shipping added later explanation
When you place an order the shipping amount will show $0.00. Soon after you place an order you will receive an email confirmation that shows the amount of shipping that was added to your order.
Shipping: Shipping is $7.50 (Midwest-USA)
Final shipping cost is determined by weight of the item(s) and distance from Milwaukee, WI. Shipping prices quoted are for items shipped to the Midwest area in the USA. If you are ordering a single item or multiple items the total shipping price is determined after you place the order. I try to keep my shipping prices to a minimum and use Postal Flat Rate boxes whenever I can utilize them for an order.
NOTE: Gaskets are included with each EGR tube. I sell the gaskets separately for those who may just need gaskets. If you are ordering a EGR tube it will come with both gaskets.
