- Top quality aftermarket replacement lower ball joint.
Top quality aftermarket replacement lower ball joint for the 1988 Fiero. Fits all 1988 Fieros. Coupe, Formula and GT. These are top quality replacements for the 1988 Fiero. My 1988 Fiero lower ball joints have a snap ring groove cut into them (snap ring included) for added safety.
* Go very well with my new Zero Lash End Links.
Do not accept a replacement 1988 Fiero lower ball joint from other suppliers that does not have this groove cut in it or does not include a snap ring.
Receive 10% off on any purchase of 4 or more tie rods and/or ball joints (any combination).
For any order of 4 or more ball joints and/or tie rods I will deduct 10% off all the ball joints and tie rods in that order.
Note: You may have noticed that many auto parts suppliers and others have reduced their prices on ball joints and tie rods recently. This is because they are now selling made in (mainland) China ball joints and tie rods. All my ball joints and tie rods are made in Taiwan. Their quality is well proven. I will continue to sell made in Taiwan ball joints and tie rod ends only.
1988 Lower Ball Joint: $28.00 each
Tip to install the rubber boot. Use a 1 1/2" piece of PVC pipe. Fits perfect.
NEW! I now include a piece of PVC tube with each lower ball joint order. To install the rubber boot on the lower ball joint you need to press/hammer the rubber boot on. The rubber boot has an internal steel ring. Once the ball joint is installed on the swing arm just use a hammer and tap the rubber boot on using the PVC tube as shown in the pictures below.
NOTE: You may have noticed many ball joints and tie rods being sold today no longer have castle nuts and cotter pins. They often times now have nylock nuts. I, for one, would not want a ball joint or tie rod that has nylock nuts on any of my vehicles. All my ball joints and tie rods have castle nuts and cotter pins.
I do not offer free shipping.
Because I use postal flat rate boxes for heavy orders there is no program that can add the proper amount of shipping to every order. So all shipping is added manually by myself after you place your order. That is explained here: Shipping added later explanation
When you place an order the shipping amount will show $0.00. Soon after you place an order you will receive an email confirmation that shows the amount of shipping that was added to your order.
Shipping: $10.00 (Midwest USA) Single ball joint
Shipping note: Shipping cost depends on how much the total order weighs and distance shipped. Once the weight and distances reaches a certain amount I ship these in a USPS Flat Rate box. Shipping for these flat rate boxes starts at $14.75 (USA). I can fit many ball joints and tie rods in one flat rate box along with other items.
Final shipping cost is determined by weight of the item(s) and distance from Milwaukee, WI. Shipping prices quoted are for items shipped to the Midwest area in the USA. If you are ordering a single item or multiple items the total shipping price is determined after you place the order. I try to keep my shipping prices to a minimum and use Postal Flat Rate boxes whenever I can utilize them for an order.
