Corvette & GM Car & Truck Tachometer Filters
Replaces GM Part Number 14020025
Fits 1975-1989 Corvette and most 1975-1989 GM vehicles with HEI distributor
NEW from Rodney Dickman!
New replacement tachometer filters for 1975-1989 Chevrolet Corvettes, and many other 1975-1989 GM vehicles.
Replaces GM Part Number 14020025, which is discontinued. Also 14062504
Should fit most small/big block V8 (283/327/350/383/400/427/454/502) with HEI from 75-89.
I have had a lot of requests for these the last few years, and here they are.
- Cures "Dead Tach". If your tachometer doesn't function, you may have a defective tach. filter.
- May cure a tach that is randomly jumping due to a slowly corroding tach filter.
- Replaces the original tach filter which is no longer available from GM.
- Installs easily.
My replacement tach filter does not look like the original, but it will provide the same functionality, and may rid you of the annoying dead or jumpy tach problems. If you need to keep the factory look, consider my OEM Look Tach filter.
Non OEM Replacement Tach Filter
NOTE: The non OEM tach filter (above) has 3 wires because one is a ground wire.
The OEM tach filter (below) uses the steel case for the ground thus it only has 2 wires.
|New OEM Look Corvette and GM tach filter. This is a direct replacement for the OEM GM tach filter used on the 75-89 Corvette and other same year GM cars. Although this tach filter is not 100% as original it is very close. To date I have not been able to find a source for the plastic connectors so these tach filters are supplied with loose wire leads. You may reuse the original ends from your old tach filter or butt splice them in using the original ends of your original tach filter. I include an instruction sheet that shows which wire goes where.
OEM Look Tach Filter
Although these tach filters look different - internally they are the same.
Corvette/GM tach filters:
- Non OEM design: $24.00
- OEM design $39.95
Shipping: Shipping in the USA via First Class Mail is a flat rate of $5.00
Shipping to areas outside of the USA: Generally I ship postal air first class mail. Shipping varies depending on what country they are going to. It ranges from $9 to Canada to $14 or more to Australia etc.
I do not offer free shipping.
Because I use postal flat rate boxes for heavy orders there is no program that can add the proper amount of shipping to every order. So all shipping is added manually by myself after you place your order. That is explained here: Shipping added later explanation
When you place an order the shipping amount will show $0.00. Soon after you place an order you will receive an email confirmation that shows the amount of shipping that was added to your order.
