This is what a Chrysler headlight motor looks like in these cars:
1987-1993 Dodge Daytona
1987-1993 Plymouth Laser
1984-86 Plymouth Laser w/ pop-up headlights
LeBarons with pop-up headlights
May work on the New Yorker with concealed headlights,
And many others*
*I am not sure how many years or how many other Dodge/Plymouth/Chrysler models these rebuild kits work on. Chances are they will work for most if not all Chrysler cars from the 80's thru 90's with retractable headlights. Contact me to see if I have a kit for your application!
Why buy a new $150+ headlight motor assembly from Chrysler when you can rebuild your old ones for a few dollars.
Rebuild your Chrysler Lebaron, Laser, and Daytona headlight motor actuators with this inexpensive kit.
NOTE: You might find you can buy these kits on eBay for less. Years ago that was OK. They were like mine. Turned from Delrin bar stock. Not anymore. They are now injection molded and no where near as strong as turned Delrin.
3 special plastic bushings are all that usually fail. If the motor continues to run in the up or down position or if the headlight lids will not rise or seem to rise erratically, this kit will fix it.
One kit rebuilds one actuator motor. If one motor fails, the other is not usually far behind. Order 2 kits for 2 motors. Be sure to check to see if your Chrysler car has a single headlight motor or two motors before ordering. This is all you need to rebuild these headlight motors.
- Instructions are included. These headlight actuators are easy to rebuild!
- Your old motors PLUS my rebuild kit EQUALS working pop-ups!
New gears are coming:
New gears will be available later this summer/fall. Gear failures are rare. But I'm going to have some replacement aluminum gears made.
Shipping: Shipping in the USA via First Class Mail is a flat rate of $4.50
Shipping to areas outside of the USA: Generally I ship postal air first class mail. Shipping varies depending on what country they are going to. It ranges from $10.50 to Canada to $17 or more to Australia etc.
I do not offer free shipping.
Because I use postal flat rate boxes for heavy orders there is no program that can add the proper amount of shipping to every order. So all shipping is added manually by myself after you place your order. That is explained here: Shipping added later explanation
When you place an order the shipping amount will show $0.00. Soon after you place an order you will receive an email confirmation that shows the amount of shipping that was added to your order.
