1986 - 1988 Fiero GT Reproduction lenses
Recently someone claims (but has never supplied any proof) to have made some reproduction lenses for the 86-88 Fiero GT. This person claims that $20,000 aluminum molds were made ( but has never supplied any proof) and this person claims to have made 4 pair of reproduction 86-88 GT lenses from these aluminum molds. This person says these 4 pair of reproduction lenses were sold but to unknown buyers. This person also reports these $20,000 molds were sold to an unnamed gentleman in January 2016 but no one knows to whom and this person does not want to release that information.
Here is a low resolution picture of the lenses that this person claimed to have produced from a mold. No close ups or backside pictures have ever been shown of these (claimed) reproduction lenses and in my opinion these are OEM lenses that have been worked over to try and make some low cost molds. I asked this person several times for pictures of the sides and backs and this person repeatedly refused my requests.
I am looking for the person that bought the aluminum molds (In my opinion this person does not exist and in my opinion these aluminum molds do not exist). The aluminum molds to make these lenses reportedly cost over $20,000. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of these molds please contact me. I am more than willing to help the new owner of these molds produce more of these reproduction lenses for the 86-88 Fiero GT if indeed these molds do exist (In my opinion they do not exist).
I'm also looking for anyone that bought any of these 4 sets of reproduction lenses shown above (Also in my opinion they do not exist). I would like to see the quality before I consider helping the new owner of these molds produce any more of these 86-88 Fiero GT lenses (But since in my opinion they most likely do not exist I'm quite sure no one will ever see them).
In my opinion this is the biggest sham in the history of Fiero aftermarket parts.
My opinion on this is:
Update: As of 5-28-2019 the counter on my web page shows 5614 people have now viewed this web page. And still no clue to the whereabouts of the aluminum molds or any of the 4 sets of reproduction lenses reported being made from those aluminum molds.
